The latest from
Electric Maggotland Studios

As you may have guessed, the Maggots are indeed on hiatus, just like the rumors said. Each individual member is experimenting with different forms of music and we felt it best that it would make for a stronger Nasty Maggots if we did not play together for a while. Not to worry, though, we will get back together soon, and sooner if we have a good reason to, for instance, a gig with some of our favorite bands (here and here).

Check out the Nasty Maggots MySpace site

Check out what some of our members are doing here.

Green Flem will be creating his own page featuring his music, check back soon!!

A live CD has been created. Tentacles is taking longer to mix and master than we intended, due to the schedule of the damn guy who owns the equipment, and the fact that he thinks it is a giant pinball machine doesn't help. So look for a limited edition live CD signed by all of us in 24ct. gold, with Missy the Logo Elf's lip prints on it.

******************* This just in!!! ******************************

The Maggots members recruited Sinister Finister, Sextacy and some guy named R.J. to redo a classic Cabbage Night Orchestra song!

*Sinister (original CNO member, by the way) brought weapons of ass destruction - his pedal steel guitar, and also his classic Wurlitzer electric piano.
*Norton brought his e-drums for ease of recording, and brought R.J. for ease of playing.
*Green Flem brough a bunch of interesting sonic devices, including a tube with some magical components inside that made a noise in the key of F. He also brought a marching xylophone and the classic Moog.
*Sextacy brought his guitar and his A game.
*Hot Lixx did not bring the Chapman Stick, quick calculations showed that a wormhole would develop and a tear in the space time continuum would be the result.
*There was no rehearsal involved, Chum merely charted out the song and we hit record, so what you will hear is one take, no overdubs, minimal mixing, and no fancy lighting effects! More on this soon.

Here is our new counter, first installed on December 28, 2006.
